Disclaimer
This site does not provide investment advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. The site publishes figures companies reported to the SEC and compares them against other companies in the same industry classification. It does not know your circumstances, your goals or your tolerance for loss, and it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional.
The figures may be incomplete or wrong. Data is taken automatically from filings that companies prepare themselves, tagged in ways that vary between companies and over time. Gaps, mis-tagged values and misinterpretations are possible. The methodology page describes the known limitations in detail. Always check anything that matters against the original filing, which every company page links to.
Grades are comparisons, not verdicts. A letter grade is a company’s percentile against others sharing a broad, self-assigned industry code. It cannot account for a company’s strategy, its competitive position, its management, its contracts, or assets whose value does not appear in the figures. A high grade is not a reason to buy and a low one is not a reason to sell.
Past results say little. Everything here describes what has already happened. Historical revenue, margins and dividends are not predictions, and companies that have grown reliably can stop doing so without warning.
